Stoughton Girls Tennis Takes Down Sauk Prairie in Badger Small Dual
Stoughton Dominates Singles Matches
The Stoughton girls tennis team secured a decisive 6-1 victory over Sauk Prairie in a Badger Small Conference dual meet on Tuesday. Stoughton's strength in singles play proved to be the difference-maker, as they swept all four matches.
Stoughton's top singles player, senior captain Olivia Milanowski, led the charge with a convincing 6-0, 6-0 win. Junior Julia Hein followed suit, earning a 6-2, 6-1 victory at the No. 2 singles position.
Doubles Success for Stoughton
In doubles, Stoughton continued their winning ways. The No. 1 doubles team of senior captain Emma Olson and junior Lily Carlson teamed up for a 6-4, 6-1 victory. The No. 2 doubles pair of sophomore Emily Fuller and freshman Ava Buske also contributed, securing a 6-3, 6-2 win.
Sauk Prairie's Sole Victory
Sauk Prairie's lone point came from the No. 3 singles match, where sophomore Abby Hall earned a hard-fought 6-4, 6-4 victory.

With the win, Stoughton improves to 3-1 in Badger Small Conference play and 4-4 overall. They will next face Monona Grove on Thursday, September 15th.
