The BBC has acquired the rights to broadcast "The Turkish Detective," an eight-part crime thriller that seamlessly blends Turkish and English elements. The series will premiere on BBC iPlayer and BBC Two in the UK on Sunday, July 7th, 2024.

The Turkish Detective follows British detective Mehmet Suleyman as he joins a homicide unit in Istanbul. While the team closes in on a murder suspect, Suleyman embarks on a parallel investigation, bringing a fresh perspective to the case.
