Edwards, Towns Lead Minnesota to Victory

Phoenix Faces Elimination in Game 4

The Minnesota Timberwolves have taken a commanding 2-1 lead in their Western Conference first-round series against the Phoenix Suns, following a convincing 126-109 victory in Game 3 on Tuesday night. Anthony Edwards led the way for Minnesota with a game-high 40 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns added 28 points and 10 rebounds. The Timberwolves shot 50.6% from the field and hit 16 three-pointers, including six from Edwards. The Suns were led by Devin Booker's 26 points, but the All-Star guard struggled with his efficiency, shooting just 9-of-23 from the field. Deandre Ayton added 20 points and 12 rebounds, but the Suns could not keep up with the Timberwolves' offensive firepower. The Timberwolves controlled the game from the opening tip, taking a 10-point lead in the first quarter and never trailing again. Edwards and Towns were both dominant in the paint, and the Timberwolves' bench provided a much-needed spark. With the victory, the Timberwolves have put the Suns on the brink of elimination. Game 4 will be played in Phoenix on Thursday night, and the Suns will need to win to keep their season alive.
